Ingredients
For the filling
- 6 c Sliced and Peeled Apples
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
For the topping
- 1 c Oats
- I Tablespoon AP Flour
- I Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 c Melted Butter
Instructions
- To make the filling, over a medium-high heat in a sauté pan melt the butter and then sauté the apples for 3 minutes, reduce heat and let liquid accumulate in bottom of pan. Strain off liquid and reduce to 1/4 cup, then mix back in with cooked apples, apple cider vinegar, salt, and sugar.
- To make topping, mix all ingredients well. Then place apple mixture in 9” by 13\" glass baking pan and bake on 325⁰ convection for 30 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
