Apple Crisp

For the filling

  • 6 c Sliced and Peeled Apples
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

For the topping

  • 1 c Oats
  • I Tablespoon AP Flour
  • I Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 c Melted Butter


  1. To make the filling, over a medium-high heat in a sauté pan melt the butter and then sauté the apples for 3 minutes, reduce heat and let liquid accumulate in bottom of pan. Strain off liquid and reduce to 1/4 cup, then mix back in with cooked apples, apple cider vinegar, salt, and sugar.
  2. To make topping, mix all ingredients well. Then place apple mixture in 9” by 13\" glass baking pan and bake on 325⁰ convection for 30 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
