Join The VeryVera Show in our newly renovated, Sub-Zero Wolf kitchen for an exclusive Chef Series this fall! We’re bringing three of our favorite chefs to town in September, October, and November to provide one high-class evening in the VeryVera kitchen.
Enjoy a demo for each of four courses in our newly renovated SubZero-Wolf kitchen with seating and overhead video projection. We will transition to the dining room after each course demonstration and sit at a beautifully appointed table to enjoy our chef’s creations with a hand-selected wine pairing.
Chef Gerry Sizemore is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC. A veteran restaurant chef, Gerry will be demonstrating the art of sous vide with an expertly prepared beef tenderloin and crispy potato matchsticks, topped with a cognac peppercorn pan sauce.
Chef Gerry’s Menu:
- Basil Balsamic Burrata | Compressed tomato carpaccio
- Warm Asparagus Salad | Sous vide egg, bacon lardons, toasted breadcrumbs, lemon zest, basil, shaved parmesan, lacquered almonds
- Seed-Crusted Halibut | Sous vide artichoke and fennel confit, blistered cherry tomatoes, potato coins, parsley beurre fondue
- Sous vide Banana Bread | Hershey chocolate semifreddo, banana bourbon caramel
Attendance is limited to 18 guests. Admission is $200 for the event per couple, and for only $75, you can attend a taping of The VeryVera Show featuring your event’s guest earlier in the day!
