Ingredients
- 10 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 c biscuit mix
- 1 lb mild sausage
Maple-Mustard Sauce:
- 1/2 c Dijon mustard
- 1/4 c pure maple syrup
Maple-Butter Sauce:
- 1 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 c heavy cream
- 1 stick butter (very cold, cut into cubes)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a stand mixer using the dough hook attachment.
- Roll into small balls.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
Maple-Mustard Sauce:
- Stir together mustard and syrup until combined well.
Maple-Butter Sauce:
- In a saucepan, add maple syrup and cream and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the heat and begin whisking the butter into the maple syrup, cube by cube, whisking constantly until emulsified.
