Little League Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 1/2 c ketchup
  • 3/4 c yellow mustard
  • 3 tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil on medium heat in a deep cast-iron skillet or large saucepan.
  2. Brown the meat, using the back of a spoon to break it into little pieces.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer 30 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. Add a little more water for less thickness and to make it more sauce-like.
  6. Serve on hot dogs, in Frito Pie, or on its own with toppings.
