Deviled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 4 lb medium shrimp, cooked, peeled, and deveined. Cut each shrimp in thirds. Set aside
  • 32 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 Medium, onion, grated
  • 1 tbsp. Tabasco
  • 1 tbsp. Durkee famous sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp. salt, or to taste
  • pepper
  • Optional: French rounds, sliced radishes, and capers
  • Note: These quantities are for a large mold. For smaller quantities, cut the recipe in half.

Instructions

  1. Combine all of these, mixing well
  2. Fold shrimp into cream cheese mixture. Add salt and pepper. Pour into a 5 cup fish mold. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold onto platter lined with red-leaf lettuce. Serve with crackers
  3. To turn into an appetizer, spread a small amount of deviled shrimp on a French round, then top with a sliced radish and capers
