Connoisseur’s Casserole

Ingredients

Casserole

  • 12 -ounce can white shoe peg corn
  • 15 1/2 -ounce can French cut string beans, drained
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 3 -ounce jar diced pimentos, drained
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 11 ¾ -ounce can cream of celery soup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Topping

  • 1 c Ritz cracker crumbs
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • ½ cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except topping. Place in 1 ½-quart casserole.
  2. Sprinkle topping over casserole.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
