Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef (80/20 ground chuck recommended)
- 1/4 lb hot pork sausage
- 1 c panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 medium Vidalia onion, chopped
- 1/2 c marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Sauce
- 1/2 c marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix all the meatloaf ingredients together until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Press the meatloaf mixture into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
- Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- Drain the fat and cover with the sauce.
- Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
