Join The VeryVera Show for an exclusive Chef Series this fall! We’re bringing one of our favorite culinary figures to the Cottage to provide one high-class evening in the VeryVera kitchen.
Enjoy a demo for each of four courses in our newly renovated Sub-Zero Wolf and Cove kitchen with seating and overhead video projection. We will transition to the dining room after each course demonstration and sit at a beautifully appointed table to enjoy our chef’s creations with a hand-selected wine pairing.
Chef Wes Fulmer is the Executive Chef of Motor Supply Co. Bistro in Columbia, SC. Featured recently in The Local Palate magazine and mentioned by Travel + Leisure, Fodor’s Travel and the UK’s Telegraph, Fulmer and his culinary team have led Motor Supply to garner all three major local readers’ choice awards for “Best Restaurant” in 2015 and 2016 (The State, Free Times and Columbia Metropolitan Magazine) and again won Free Times’ and The State’s 2017 “Best Restaurant” awards. In Spring 2017, Chef Fulmer was one of the featured chefs at Columbia’s first-ever James Beard Foundation benefit dinner. After honing his craft in the James Beard Award-winning kitchens of celebrity chefs (Restaurant August, New Orleans and Susanna Foo, Philadelphia), with stints in Boulder, CO and education in France, Fulmer served as Sous Chef at the luxe Atlantic Room at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. In Spring 2015, Chef Fulmer was selected as the sole chef for Discover SC’s biannual media event in New York City, and in Fall 2015, he was featured in a segment of the Travel Channel UK television show, “Jeni and Olly’s Deep South Food Adventures.”
Chef Wes will be preparing a menu full of fresh flavors and quality ingredients inspired by his culinary background.
Attendance is limited to 18 guests. Admission is $100 for the event per person.
