Buddies and Foodies

Come join Vera Stewart, WSAV, St. Joseph’s/Candler and some top local chefs for Foodies and Buddies, the first in the new Buddy Check 3 Lifestyle Series.
The FREE event will feature area chefs cooking healthy food plus specific cancer prevention breakout sessions by local experts. The sessions include an oncology clinical nutritionist who will discuss the role food plays in prevention as well as an expert on complementary therapies.
The geneticist at the Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion will also discuss the latest testing techniques and the role genetics plays in risk, diagnosis, and treatment.
The event’s breakout sessions will last 15 minutes and will start at 5:30 p.m., 6 and 6:30. The event is limited to 200 people. Click here to register.
