6 slices bacon, fried, crumbled and drained ¼ cup
minced onion
2 Tbs. sugar
2 tsp. flour ¾ tsp. salt
1
cup sour cream
2 Tbs. milk
2/3 Tbs. vinegar ½ lb. cold, crisp spinach
To excess bacon fat, add onion and cook until tender.
Add combined sugar, flour and salt. Stir/heat until blended,
add milk and sour cream a little at a time and stir until
thickened. Add bacon & vinegar. Pour over spinach.
Serves 8.
