summer desserts. Watch the children flock around the brownies and all
your aunts will love the German Chocolate Pie. Enjoy!!
Peanut Butter Brownies
1/2 cup Jiff Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 (6oz) pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, butter, brown & granulated sugar
and beat until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla. In a separate
bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir this into
the peanut butter mixture until well mixed. Stir in one package of the chocolate
morsels. Spread batter evenly in a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining
chocolate over the top. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
German Chocolate Pie
1 frozen pie shell
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. flour
1 Tbs. cornstarch
2 Tbs. cocoa
pinch of salt
Mix together and put in blender along with:
2 eggs
3 Tbs. melted butter
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Blend until smooth. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
