Slow Cooker Macaroni & Cheese
This is a recipe that is shared with me by a wonderful friend, Sally Tamplin Nunn,
who is the daughter of my dearest and oldest friend, Debbie Tamplin. Sally and
her husband, Lee are expecting their first child around the 3rd of March. VeryVera
catered their wedding a few years ago and it was spectacular. Thank you, Sally
and let me know when "the stork's a circlin' ".
1 8 oz. box elbow macaroni (cooked)
1 cup medium cheddar cheese
1 egg beaten
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese |
1 large can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter (softened) |
Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except the
one cup of cheese and put into the slow cooker. Top with the remaining one cup of
cheese. Cook on low for 3 hours and 15 minutes. This makes a delicious cheesy
casserole that the whole family will love.
